Cheech & Chong os originais do filme Cheech & Chong´s "up in smoke" de 1978 dos diretores Lou Adler e Tommy Chong é o melhor filme do gênero comédia com dois retardados que só fazem merda. Este foi o primeiro e é melhor da dupla cheech e chong, para mim deixam Debi e Loide comendo poeira. Porque além de serem dois caras que só fazem besteira, eles tem um motivo puro, simples e totalmente comum entre os jovens dos anos 70, as drogas! Enquanto Debi e Loide são apenas dois bobões obviamente inspirados em Cheech e Chong mas sem a mesma sacada crítica de Lou Adler e Tommy Chong.
